Serbian folk dance opportunity for all those interested to nurture Serbian traditions and customs
To encourage people to maintain a healthy body and mind through creative, traditional Serbian dance and music. We find and nurture the talent of young people in the customs and traditions of Serbian people, especially in music, instruments, costumes and choreography. We also aim to assemble and educate the wider community with Serbian traditions and customes.
Why the community needs usWe enable the development of creativity in the field of art and culture keeping children and young adults in a safe enviroment and off the streets. It is rewarding that all our communities come together providing a pleasant alliance of diverse cultures in the town and county.
Our impact on the communityWe have four different groups of all ages and all our groups are run by volunteers and an experienced choreographer. The group has appeared at many community and cultural events showcasing various routines in different costumes native to Serbia. Members of our group have made everyone involved proud and it is a pleasure and joy to be a part of such a great experience.
