The promotion of social inclusion amongst children and young people who are socially excluded by providing them with an opportunity to build capacity, providing unique and bespoke opportunities and experiences to develop self esteem and relieve the needs of children and young people, assisting them to be able to make a positive contribution to society. This includes meeting the gap in care for children and young people excluded due to their disabilities or additional needs.
Why the community needs usBy allowing children and young people the opportunity to participate in experiences this will directly impact their future development and well being which will allow them to make a positive contribution to society. This also provides parents and carers with the prospect of seeking further education which may lead to employment.
Our impact on the communityWe have already witnessed first hand the difference social inclusion within a positive environment can make on children and young people who come from a background with difficulties, for example disability, family crisis and living in poverty. Children thrive in an accepting society scaffolded by their peers and positive adult role models, development and social skills are enhanced, which has a positive impact on relationships and education.
