We provide footballing opportunities to our local community and beyond. We are a Charter Standard Community Football Club meeting the highest levels of recommendations as judged by the English FA. Despite our current standing, the facilities at Wigginton are in need of modernisation! We have started a fundraisng campaign towards a "new build" which would hopefully include new changing rooms, equipment room, toliets and kitchen which would better serve the people of Wigginton for years to come!
Why the community needs usThe proposed facilities will provide the local community, clubs and schools, a safe, clean and secure venue to develop, improve and above all enjoy football! Through our activities, we strive to promote confidence, respect and self-esteem in order to ensure all players become better people through an enjoyable footballing experience.
Our impact on the communityThe club is working hard to improve upon its community standing. An example of this is that we have recently been awarded the "Respect Award" by the NRCFA which is the FA's programme of activities to combat unacceptable behaviour in our game at every level - on the pitch and from the sidelines. The club has an ambitious fundraising target and are working towards a 2018 completion.
