B P Collins Tackles Three Peaks Challenge 2015

Please support the intrepid staff of B P Collins - they have a mountain to climb…again…and again! A nine-strong team from Buckinghamshire law firm B P Collins LLP is preparing to take on the famous Three Peaks Challenge to raise funds for Heart of Bucks - the Community Foundation for Bucks encouraging local giving for local need. Partner Nick Hallchurch, financial controller Dan Johnson, IT manager Imran Shah, IT support analyst Irfan Shah, trainee solicitors Rebecca Mitchell, Elizabeth Maxwell, Emily Halley, Tom Bird and paralegal Dana Eyre will start their climb on Saturday 12 September and hope to finish within just 24 hours. The Three Peaks Challenge sees teams scaling Ben Nevis in Scotland, the highest of the peaks at 1,344 metres, Scafell Pike in England’s Lake District at 978 metres, and Snowdon in Wales, at 1,085 metres – all within 24 hours. The team will battle with torrential rain and mist, snow and temperatures of minus zero - with such a daunting challenge ahead of them, they'd really appreciate your support! Nick Hallchurch said: “Some of us have been fortunate enough to see first-hand the tremendous work that Heart of Bucks does in supporting a range of charities throughout Buckinghamshire, and knowing our efforts will help make a real difference to people in need will certainly spur us on when we start to struggle.” The first leg of the challenge will see the team tackle Ben Nevis, which is expected to take around seven hours for the ascent and descent, followed by a drive to Scafell Pike for an early morning start, and finally a sprint by road to Snowdon for the final leg, which is expected to take a further four to five hours in total. All donations gratefully received in support of the Three Peaks Challenge will go towards the B P Collins charitable stewardship with Heart of Bucks.
