JW Hinks half marathon in aid of Lunch On The Run

Hi, thanks for visiting our page, a team from the firm are swapping tax for tracksuits to compete in the Bupa Great Birmingham Run on 20th October 2013. We are taking part in the half marathon in order to raise funds for our charity of the year – Lunch On The Run – and hope that you can support us by pledging your sponsorship. Kingswinford-based Lunch On The Run is a unique charity where people with a learning disability can enjoy learning about working in catering. Staff help people develop the skills and confidence that improve their chances of finding a job. This is achieved through personalised training plans and involving trainees in every aspect of the charity’s work. There are currently three members of staff at the charity who have a learning disability. Other people who the charity has trained now volunteer at a local Community Café or have gone on to work at other places. Our team are spending many hours a week putting in the hard miles to train for this event and would be grateful for any sponsorship received, however big or small.
