Santas Up Snowdon 2015

We have all heard of the Santa Dash which takes place across the nation and each year raises thousands for a variety of worthwhile causes. We at WAYC want to take it to the next level! With pleasure we launch our first Santas Up! A team of WAYC staff and supporters dressed in Santa Costume will attempt to hike up the UKs second highest mountain on the lead up to Christmas. Taking place on Wednesday 16th December we will be setting off early and returning in the early hours of the evening! Why are we doing this?? We want to raise awareness of the importance of youth work and the role youth workers play in supporting the nations youth to succeed, overcome and develop into the future leaders our country deserves. For over 60 years. WAYC has supported youth clubs and youth workers. We have delivered training, assisted with fundraising, provided DBS checking for workers, offered advice and guidance and have delivered exciting projects and residential weekends to hundreds of young people. Please support us as we take Santa Up Snowdon this Christmas!!
