We Care 2015 (Wolf Run)

As you know I'm really passionate about working with young people, especially young people in the care system that may not have the best upbringing. I work hard to develop good values and help them to realise their immense worth and value. Due to cuts and a lack of resources we are struggling to continue our work and maintain our support for them. This has a knock on effect on their emotional and physical well being which can put them at serious risk. Young people living in care are often far more susceptible to drug misuse, prostitution, suicide and mental health problems. They can often go hungry and wrestle daily with feelings of loneliness, isolation and despair. Dave and I are hoping to raise money for these vulnerable young people and help with better outcomes for them. We are hopeful that you would dig deep and offer as much money money as you can. In doing so David and I (and some other colleagues also) will be punished by doing the Wolf Run on the 6th September! Something that is not just physically, but mentally challenging and will give us a taste of what these young people feel everyday. Your money will help them deal with these challenges that they face.
