Parkinson's is something very close to my heart as my Dad has been suffering with it for the last 15 years. My Mum is amazing in her endless caring for him and I also help too. Parkinson's symptoms and how quickly they progress are different for everyone. There’s currently no cure, but drugs and treatments are available to manage many of the symptoms. There are many symptoms of Parkinson’s, some of which I have listed below, it’s not just the shaking! - Tremor (shaking), Slowness of movement & Rigidity (stiffness). Losing your sense of smell, Problems with the Eyes, Bladder and Bowel, Falls and Dizziness, Fatigue, Freezing, Pain, Sleep problems, Speech and Communication problems and Swallowing problems. Anxiety, Dementia, Depression, Hallucinations and Delusions and Memory problems to name but a few.
