The Norfolk branch of the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE Norfolk) exists to promote the beauty, tranquillity and diversity of the countryside and coastline in Norfolk.
Why the community needs usFormed in 1933, CPRE Norfolk is one of the longest established and most respected environmental groups in Norfolk.
We are a campaigning organisation and an independent voice for the landscape. We engage with local and regional planning systems to ensure that our views are heard by decision makers and campaign locally for positive solutions that will support the long-term future of the countryside.
Our impact on the communityWe publish research, organise public debates and conduct media work to ensure that decisions about the countryside are put under the spotlight.
We highlight examples of best practice in a range of conservation fields, giving awards and celebrating successes.
Our annual calendar of walks, talks and open days allows people to learn about the landscape in which they live.
Our network of litter wardens across Norfolk help keep towns and villages clean.
