Slough has a wonderfully diverse community with new people arriving all the time. It also has a strong voluntary sector representing all sections of the community. We help local people find a volunteering role where they can contribute and feel more part of Slough. We offer training to volunteer managers on how best to work with volunteers.
We help local organsiations find the volunteers they need and support them in managing their volunteers. We help local people, especially those with additional support needs find a role in the community that is suitable for them. We help people gain the necessary skills and confidence to develop and feel a part of their community.
We rely on the skills and commitment of volunteers to provide our service so are always happy to talk to anyone interested in helping us. If you enjoy meeting people and are passionate about volunteering please get in touch. We are the Volunteer Centre for Slough so we can help you find a volunteering role in a wide variety of organisations across the town.
