Creative PR 4 Creative PPL

Creative PR 4 Creative PPL is a PR agency aiming to offer PR, services and consultancies especially designed for small, start-up businesses, creatives and charities. I am a former student of the Urban Voice UK business training and currently a student on the GPS mentoring programme. With a Master degree in communication and information, after spending years working in PR agencies, I decided to become a freelance, but I had no clue how and where to start, that is when I found out about Urban Voice UK and enrolled on the business programme. This was 6 years ago This training changed my life in many levels and gave me the motivation and right state of mind to succeed. I have also been offered the opportunity to share my PR knowledge with the other Urban Voice students and hosted my first "How to PR yourself"workshop. As a freelance, I encountered the challenges of starting a business. My experience in PR and my passion for social media became very handy to promote myself. I have always been a creative person, raised in a creative family, always surrounded by creative people, I often heard creatives complaining that they were struggling to promote themselves. So I ended up mainly offering my services to creatives, small businesses and charities and realised how much those people were in need of guidance to promote themselves. I came out with the idea of creating a PR agency dedicated to support, guide innovative small business, start-ups, creatives charities. The idea is to offer traditional PR executive services but also share knowledge and tips through workshops and trainings to provide the tools for business owners to promote themselves through traditional PR, social media, networking, and events. I am now fundraising to be able to start up this business properly with the aim to be able to employ and build a team. Having the opportunity to fundraise to start up and at the same support Urban Voice means a lot to me as I believe in positive change.
