The Willow Tree Center -Sponsored Swim

Daisy and I are taking part in a sponsored swim to raise money for The Willow Tree Center in Yate. We will be part of a relay team which will swim non-stop for 3 hours at Yate Leisure Center on Sunday , November 29th. The center offers free advice to those facing unplanned pregnancy, baby loss or miscarriage. Around 1:4 women will a suffer miscarriage in their lifetime and is something that has directly affected me and my family. Since 2012 I have had 2 ectopic pregnancies and 2 miscarriages. It is a difficult subject to talk about and many women feel ashamed, confused and emotionally drained by the experience while still having to continue with day-to-day life. This is why free services offered by The Willow Tree Center are vital so that women and their partners have access to somebody they can chat to , in a safe environment and without judgement.
