Since 1979 Essex Boys and Girls Clubs have been taking groups of young people to the remote mountain village of Barpak in Nepal. The young people spend 8 days hiking to the village which site 6,200 ft above sea level. Once they arrive they spend their time living and working with the local community. Over the years our groups’ fundraising and volunteering efforts have supported the village to develop.
Prospex young leaders Hope and Gracie are attending the 2024 expedition alongside their youth worker Alan. This page is set up to receive donations from the quiz night and other fundraising activities to help us reach our target.
