About the appeal

Stony Stratford Cricket Club provides recreational sport to a diverse community in Milton Keynes and North Buckinghamshire. We currently run 8 senior teams, including 2 for women, and 14 junior teams, including 3 for girls and we are still growing to keep up with the demand from residents. The club is proud to support players from disadvantaged backgrounds through various initiatives and a shared love of cricket.

Our current cricket nets are the hub of our training sessions and are in use every day of the week in the summer. Due to the constant use they are in need of refurbishment so the club is embarking on an ambitious project to raise £58,000 to fund a state-of-the art cricket practice facility. This will allow the club to expand its cricket offer with a high quality community asset and provide members with a training environment to meet their ambitions. Our current nets have also been hit by flooding several times over the last few years and the new facility will be built to better handle this.

We are extremely grateful for all donations of any size. All funds raised on this page will be ring-fenced for the cricket nets project which we hope to install for the 2025 season.
