1st Burwell Scout Group aims to provide scouting to all young people in an around Burwell and to offer them the opportunity of earning badges and learn knowledge that they can take through life with them. We offer approximately 100 young people the chance to Camp and have fun as well as learning different activities in a controlled environment.
Why the community needs us1st Burwell Scout Group benefits the local community as it offers all young people from between 6 & 25 the chance to meet new friends and learn new skills
Our impact on the communityAll members of the Scouts association are offered the chance to earn and work towards badges. These badges work towards special awards Bronze awards for Beavers, Silver awards for Cubs, Gold awards for Scouts and then others such as Cheif Scout and Queen Scout Awards. As well as badges the members learn fun and new skills that they can take through life.
