The vision for Daisy Inclusive UK would be the inclusion of all disabled people to reach their true potential by breaking down barriers within society Our aim is to support the disabled community through the transition from inactivity to activity school leaving age to adulthood education to meaningful employment and beyond Through the mediums of Sport Education and Employment we support our community in achieving what mainstream society typically assumes impossible for someone with a disability
Why the community needs usDaisy Inclusive UK's transitional social model philosophy is to work pro-actively towards offering an anti-oppressive environment, addressing isolation and creating real equality of opportunity ethos through support and which positively celebrates the diversity of the people and strives for the fundamental right to an accessible environment and inclusive community for all.
Our impact on the communityDaisy Inclusive UK is a disability-led charity. 80% of our management committee, volunteers and staff have a disability which ensures that our services effectively meet the needs of our disabled people and the local community. In 2013 we supported 3,000 disabled young people and their families.
