Set up in memory of Jaskomal Sher-gill who passed away from non-hodgkin's lymphoma in 2013 aged 23.
Our aim is to educate and raise awareness in the Beds, Herts and London Asian community of the need for stem cell donors. We strive to increase the number of Asian stem cell donors on the Anthony Nolan database. We want to address the disproportionate outcomes for those suffering from blood cancers in the Asian community by encouraging stem cell and also organ donation. Ultimately we aim to mentor groups that represent minority communities seeking to achieve similar aims in their own community.
Why the community needs usAll donations through Local giving will be used exclusively to benefit the local Asian communities based around Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and London.
