Running 100 miles for Nana + other rape survivors

Hi, I'm Lisa and I'm running my first 100 miles event (yes all in one go!) for a very special reason. I'm running for rape and sexual abuse survivors, after finding out that my Nana was raped as a teenage girl and had kept her painful secret for nearly 70 years. (She disclosed, just a short time before she died.) Imagine that, feeling as though you have no one to turn to or you feel too scared or worried about telling your loved ones. I'm raising money for RSVP's specialist services for rape and abuse survivors, so that children, women and men can share the feelings they have, receive support and find their self confidence again. Please give whatever you can to ensure that people who need RSVP's services, are never on their own with the trauma (unlike my Nana) and can feel positive and hopeful about their future. And finally, a heartfelt thank you, to you, for your support xx IMPORTANT UPDATE: I DID IT!! I COMPLETED 100 MILES IN 29 hours 23 minutes and 11 seconds. It was EPIC! I used to come last at cross country races at school, which just goes to show, you can do anything when you set your heart on it and train your mind and body to follow. Follow your dreams too.
