We are a unique charity in Dudley, where people with a learning disability can enjoy learning about working in catering. Why the community needs usWe help people develop the skills and confidence that improves their chances of finding a job. Trainees are awarded vocational qualifications and are involved in every aspect of our work.
Our impact on the communityWe have three members of staff who have a learning disability. Other people who we have trained now volunteer at our Community Cafe or have gone on to work at other places.
We would love volunteers to drive our vehicles to collect trainees and deliver buffets. Also to help in the kitchen by helping to prepare food or support trainees. We are always looking for people who can make the commitment to be a trustee of the charity. Please get in touch for more details, or simply pop in and see us at work! We are open Mon-Fri 8am - 2pm.
