OTR provides free, confidential mental health info support to young people in Bristol.
Hello, we're Off the Record Bristol - but you can call us OTR. We provide free and confidential mental health support and information to young people aged 11-25 in Bristol and South Gloucestershire. We do this in a number of ways, including - Providing therapeutic services for young people, - Hosting resilience and stress management education, - Running specialist youth work, - Leading social action campaigns alongside young people, and - Delivering training and research.
Why the community needs usWe support children and young people to overcome issues like depression, low self-esteem, anxiety, OCD, self-harm, suicidal feelings, eating disorders, anger, grief, substance misuse, family breakdown, school and work related stresses like bullying and unemployment, abuse, domestic violence, and identity to name but a few. We put an emphasis on health promotion, giving young people the tools and techniques they need to be able to recognise and look after their own mental health.
