To transform the old Faringdon Pump House Theater into a vibrant centre for Parkour and Freerunning and to help accomodate other local activities including Pilates, Dance, Scouts and More! It is a genuine community project - developed by the community, delivered by the community and now working for the community! Building work is almost complete on getting the building dry and safe but more funds are needed to install heating and buy equipment. Please help!
Why the community needs usYoung people such as the Scouts and Cubs have no permanent home in Faringdon, and the Pump House Theatre provides the perfect place to establish a facility to teach young people new skills, and create a meeting space to offer friendship support and really strengthen the local community. The restoration of this building will provide a lasting legacy for Faringdon and give it something to truly 'shout about' as well as encouraging other Parkour enthusiasts into the area.
Our impact on the communityWe are almost there with the building work and plan to open soon - but more help is needed t!o make the building fit for use over the cold months
We would love to hear from anyone interested in Parkour or shares our desire to unlock potential in young people
