WOMEN ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT

There are 2 key elements in the project : 1) Project Launch/recruitment and induction event for up to 40 participants including volunteers and local partner organisations. 2) Intensive 1-2-1 person-centred mentoring/coaching and employability sessions We will recruit 20 beneficiaries at project launch and each beneficiary will receive intensive 1-2-1 mentoring/coaching for 6 months or more based on the complexity of their needs.

Why they need our service

Our proposed intervention achieves the best results by providing intensive 1-2-1 support to a small group of women to meet their bespoke/ complex needs, ensuring continuity, progression and empowering them with exit strategies to take the next steps of further education, training, employment, self-employment, volunteering and peer support.

Plan and expected results

This initiative will also support women's voices and representation through a consultative mechanism intended to provide a forum for business, civil society representative to provide an enabling business environment for women. This initiative is committed to the goal of women's economic empowerment, economically empowering women as a win-win situation benefiting not only women but society as a whole.

Volunteers needed
